Review of Villa Il PoggiolinoMy family and I had a lovely stay at Villa Il Poggiolino during our recent trip to Tuscany. We appreciated the welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Alessio, the owner, ensured our late check-in was smooth, even waiting to greet us at the gate. This thoughtful gesture set a warm tone for our vacation. The villa is beautifully situated in the heart of the Tuscan hills, surrounded by lush greenery, perfect for families seeking a serene getaway. During our stay, we enjoyed engaging conversations with Alessio and Rosalba, and our children loved playing with their little boy, Vittorio, and their friendly dog. It truly felt like home. We found the accommodations comfortable, with clean, simple rooms that catered well to families. Breakfast options were varied and allowed us to choose what we wanted the night before, which was quite convenient. The villa's proximity to Florence-only a short train ride away-provided a perfect balance of exploration and relaxation. The hosts offered recommendations for nearby attractions and dining, which enriched our experience. Villa Il Poggiolino is a delightful place for families and we look forward to returning.
